Feeling is more than mutual - @CoachCrarey destroyed our switching in a way no one has in 8 years and was one step ahead the whole game. Also took us out of our best sets!
So much to learn from and part of why these early games against good teams make you so much better.
Talking to @CoachCrarey in the hotel lobby yesterday after the Grambling win and he had high praise for the NIU team and their offensive prowess. "They shoot so well and run so many plays, we just have to switch everything and keep them in front of us"
We thanked him for the entertaining basketball from 3-5am keeping the gym buzzing and specifically our TCE crew amped 🙏🏽

New lesson… don’t tweet after a 3am loss.
*we (obviously)
Not only have I never scored a basket but didn’t coach a great game on either side of the ball. Thought our players made some big-time offensive plays. Just needed 1 more.
Credit to Grambling who deserved It!

Obviously sick to my stomach by the result. I scored well enough to win. Have talented enough offensive players. Need to get way better defensively.
It was a great experience, minus the whole defense part.
We will work to keep getting better!
