Great afternoon spent in Beechwood School helping them celebrate 70 years. The school was opened by the then Mayor Victoria Florence King. Great to be the 1st Lord Mayor to talk to the children today. Great to hear about Harlee’s Angels Charity.#LordMayor #Civicduties

Colin McPherson came to collect his Lord Mayors award yesterday as he was away when we had our ceremony. Colin has spent so many hours doing the Toy Appeal and has been a real help and support to me this year. Great guy big heart selfless. #LordMayor #civicduties
