A young Amari Odom had to wait his turn to play quarterback. In youth football, his dad told him to just “go out there and be you, and they’ll recognize the talent.”
Across three programs, Odom’s embodied those words every step of his career.

The Orange drop their 10th consecutive ACC contest, squandering a double-digit halftime lead to Virginia. Had a chance to get back into it late but ultimately couldn't scrape it out.
SU drops to 2-3 and 0-3 in ACC play.
It doesn't matter. The Orange turn it over on fourth down inside their own 20, and that should do it from Scott Stadium.
Syracuse gets off the field and will have a shot to win this game. The Orange take over at their own 11 yard line with 1:03 to play.
A field goal ties the game. Danny Lauter still at QB for SU.
