The Democrats in Albany have been talking about spending $1 billion to bury 787 for the last 10 years.
It looks likes they buried Albany instead.
Meetings, focus groups, studies….they should have focused on the city’s finances instead.
Now they are looking to everyone else to dig them out of debt. #Albany
The League of Women Voters of Rensselaer County loves to claim that they are a non-partisan organization.
They recently posted support for the “No Kings Rally” that was held under the guise of encouraging people to vote early.
How can they “partner” with an organization that mocks and wishes harm to the President? #LWV #NoKingsProtest

Kathy Hochul, you promise to listen and protect. But when people questioned whether ending local ICE agreements jeopardized public safety, you called them “detached from reality” or “desperate for attention.” Your own transcript.
Rensselaer County said its program screened people already in jail on criminal charges. You and Letitia James sued to force it to terminate that agreement.
Explain how ending that cooperation makes people safer. Concerns about criminal aliens deserve more than your contempt. You don’t get to preach about listening while sneering at people who question your anti-ICE policies.
This is ironic because the people who sat on their hands, like loyal party members, and allowed this to happen over the last several years, are still in office and are acting surprised that the finances were so bad. #Albany

The development at the former Hoffman’s Playground is stalled for years because NYS DEC identified plants growing in a swale as “wetlands”.
This is the same NYS DEC that approves a landfill next to a school in Rensselaer.

Last month, the Rensselaer County Legislature introduced a Local Law banning the sale of all Kratom products in Rensselaer County.
There will be a Public Hearing on the law on September 8th. #Kratom

BREAKING: FBI agents arrested 35-year-old Albany woman Jessica Bowie after prosecutors say she plotted to bomb the New York State Capitol and kill lawmakers inside.
