So fucking glad I saved this nonsense. 😭
@GuntherEagleman is a fucking moron.

Wow. I really thought yesterday’s Trump press conference about the reflecting pool was going to turn things around.

The White House is turning red.
A boy in a Soviet uniform, red star on his cap. A girl in Russian dress. Trump gives them candy. Melania fixes the Soviet cap.
Meanwhile Russia is killing civilians in Dnipro, Chernihiv and Kremenchuk. Melania amplifies Putin’s envoy Kirill Dmitriev and plays along with the Kremlin’s Oleshky spectacle.
Putin is being laundered from international pariah into “humanitarian partner.” His people are in the First Lady’s feed. Now the red star is literally inside the White House.
Very scary Halloween.
Actually scary.

33-year-old Alex Klinner died in Trump’s war back in March. But since, 7 months later, Trump still isn’t calling it a war — his widow and their three small KIDS (7-month-old twins and a 2-year-old son) are being denied basic benefits.
Because those are only available to soldiers who die in WARS — not “excursions.”
I don’t ever want to hear from another Republican that their party “supports our troops.” You send them off to die, then desert them when they do.

You're telling me the President owns up to $23.1 million of Chevron
AND up to $18.4 million of Exxon
AND gas is up 40% in a year
AND his trades show up weeks after he makes them
AND the House voted to ban itself from trading stocks, but the bill doesn't cover him
And we're the ones who get banned for posting it.

On this day in 1728, Captain James Cook was born 🧭
Born in Marton-in-Cleveland, right here in North Yorkshire, the son of a Scottish farm labourer.
He grew up in Great Ayton, took his first apprenticeship with a Whitby ship owner and went on to chart more of the world's coastline than any explorer before him.
New Zealand, Australia's east coast, the Hawaiian Islands and vast stretches of the Pacific.
A farmer's son from the Yorkshire countryside who ended up redrawing the map of the world 🌍

I feel like Jared Kushner being at the center of the plot that ultimately led to an American journalist being dismembered via bone saw while he was still alive should be a much bigger deal than our billionaire owned news media is making of it.

Kushner and Witkoff have been to Russia 7 times under the disguise of negotiating the war.
That’s not what they are doing, they are negotiating for Trump and themselves.
Not one transcript has been released of those meetings.

If it’s between Melania and the Pope in terms of honesty, I’m going with the Pope…but that’s just me.
Melania Trump had just three cryptic words when asked if she'd visit war-torn Ukraine, as a bitter dispute with the Vatican rages over who really brokered a ceasefire.

Trump swaggered into Georgia right before the midterms, breathlessly announcing a huge new Audi factory, a massive win for the state he claimed. Here's the receipt: Audi had absolutely no such announcement, no plans to build a plant in Georgia, and no knowledge of this supposed commitment. This wasn't just campaign exaggeration; it was a bald-faced fabrication, invented out of thin air just days before an election, banking on voters not checking if a major international corporation actually agreed to a multi-billion dollar investment during a political rally. It perfectly illustrates how quickly reality gets benched for a headline grab, promising prosperity that only exists in a speech bubble, all while the people who supposedly value "truth" never question the actual facts. thehill.com/homenews/state-w…

I find myself once again asking the question, why are two random real-estate developers negotiating all foreign deals on behalf of the United States government?
Why is Marco Rubio (US secretary of state) not the one doing the deals? I think this question will become important…

Trump told us he needed Greenland to keep China and Russia out of the Arctic Circle.
Then he gave away Alaska's North Slope to Russia. Just ... invited his buddies in.

Trump was never sending Kushner and Witkoff to broker peace. He was having those two crooks sell our Alaskan public land and our Alaskan natural resources to the fucking Russians as if it were his.

There is a massive corruption scandal unfolding in the US, with top American executives abandoning a $25 billion gas project over allegations of secret Russian investment and control.
All of this is happening just as the US administration moves to ease sanctions on Russia.
It is exactly what it looks like: blatant corruption. An attempt to sell out Ukraine in exchange for lucrative deals out of pure greed. Meanwhile, it is Ukraine that continues to endure constant, baseless accusations supported by nothing. Madness.
