Remember, remember the 5th of November! For Bonfire Night, we have been looking at the colours in fireworks and a bonfire, as well as the sounds we hear. We used our funky fingers to create a bonfire picture, exercising our hands in readiness for writing. @BarntonMissR

This week, we have been looking at where we live, drawing maps to help us find our way to school. Along with some fantastic house creations with sticks and shapes. Talking about who lives in our house too. @BarntonMissR

Nursery have been looking at how to stay healthy this week; Sorting out healthy and unhealthy foods, investigating fruit, brushing teeth, playing food bingo and more! Great language, turn taking and understanding. 😍🌟 @BarntonMissR

This week, Nursery are reading The Three Little Pigs. We have built houses out of a variety of resources and role played in our provision. The wind managed to blow our house down! Can you tell the story at home too? Can we help the wolf make friends? @BarntonMissR @BarntonMrsL

Oh my goodness….a spaceship has landed in the field! How exciting 🤩 What clues could we find to help us think about what the aliens look like? Lots of problem solving and creativity. The children built them a house to welcome them #EssentialSkills @BarntonMissR @BarntonMrsRW

Nursery have been working on number recognition. This week we are looking at the number four. The children decided they wanted to write it too. Wow, you are amazing nursery😍 @BarntonMissR @BarntonMrsL

We are looking at growth this half term, these photos depict how much our wonderful children have grown over the year❤️ @BarntonMissR @BarntonMrsL

This half term, we are looking at growth. We sang Mary, Mary Quite Contrary, then drew our own flowers after looking at real flowers. We did a pen disco, finishing with putting all of the shapes we had practised together, to create a flower. Very proud @BarntonMissR @BarntonMrsL

Today, we went into the forest for an Easter Hunt. We had to find the Easter pictures that were dotted in the forest, then check them off our list. Brilliant listening skills. @BarntonMrsL @BarntonMissR

To end the week, we used our muscles to roll, squash and push, as we made dinosaur biscuits. We then used our sense of taste as we ate them! @BarntonMrsL @BarntonMissR

We always love a book in nursery, but to have a costume on and our Year 6 read to us, makes it so much more magical. @BarntonMissR @BarntonMissCo @BarntonMissRe @BarntonMrsL
