FROM VOLCANO VISTA TO UNM: UNM's Kennedy Brown enters the 2026 season with 51 starts under her belt but before her successful collegiate career, Brown was a standout at Volcano Vista. While at Volcano Vista HS, Brown was a standout basketball player and soccer player. In soccer, she was a two-time District Player of the Year and helped Volcano bring home a state title in 2019. She's also the brains behind Volcano Vista's boys basketball social media page. REMINDER: The UNM Women's Soccer team plays Northern Arizona tomorrow at home at 7 p.m. See y'all there! #newmexico #unmlobos #golobos #soccer #womenssoccer #volcanovista #albuquerque

PARENTS: When you blame other things (officials, coaches, conditions, circumstances, teammates) for the situation your son or daughter is in, then you're essentially teaching your child how to be an excuse maker. Set the standard. Be the standard.
