Started cross posting a ton of $1-10 cards on CollX. If you give me a follow or shop some of my cards I’d really appreciate it!

I watched every single game Jack Campbell played in Kinnick, in person, on the 7 yard line.
He is THE exemplification of being a Hawkeye. Grit it out, do the work, get the reward. It breaks my heart to have this happen to him.
Dealer across from me at the show sold maybe 3-4 cards all day.
I asked “How’d your show go today?” while packing up. “This wasn’t worth my time” he replied.
1) Prices on the back of the cards.
2) Didn’t take Venmo/PP, etc.
Venue didn’t have an ATM.
75% of my sales volume today was not in cash.
Sold 5 cards at full sticker price, no haggling, totaling $800.
Pretty easy fixes to sell meaningfully more stuff.
Having this take with no link to eBay or another selling platform in their bio is objectively hilarious.
Stop selling your cards at card shows if you are an attendee.
All these dealers do is scan your card on a pricing app and offer you a percentage of last sale.
Instead, start your own eBay account and build up a strong seller profile by selling your own stuff.
Have a strong presence on social media (IG, X, etc.) to generate sales through those channels.
Build something of your own.
3 years ago my Co Workers thought I was an idiot for collecting cards, now like 50% of the people at my work ask if I’ve gotten anything cool lately.
I think a lot of people overthink this. Cards are "mainstream and cool". I talk to so many people who are into cards now. This was not a thing pre-covid. 20 years ago I did a high school presentation about making money with sports cards and people legit laughed at me. Trust me, cards were not "cool".
The vibes in Iowa City are absolutely off the chart right now. It’s 3am, my college neighbors just started a part and 50+ people have show up on their lawn. They’re going to Gameday in two hours, it’s a fucking mad house.
This is not a pushing 30 mad tweet this is a pushing 30 happy for the kids tweet. I was a freshman on the 55-24 game, and it was a top 5 day ever. Hawks by a Gazillion baby
ESPN absolutely should have chosen the other side of the Old Cap, made the stage on the bricks, put the crowd down the east side hill and blocked off West side Iowa Ave to the river.

Yadier Molina was inducted into the @Cardinals Hall of Fame today.
He accepted this honor as only Yadi could!

I’ve tweeted this a couple times, but after his 1st game this year, I wished him good luck & complimented his approach at the plate after he signed for me & he got this little smile and said he really appreciated it. So, pretty much, I caused this (I didn’t, I’m not delusional)
