This is why I can’t talk to casual fans. Every small moment is symbolic of something much larger than the actual moment. Given Zora’s past and how he views Nobility and Royalty/ those with large amounts of magic and how they arranged the world in a way that they could step on anyone lower than them— him catching Magna wasn’t just a moment of Black Bull camaraderie. People have already talked about how this whole fight is symbolic of the status quo and Magna crushing it but Zora catches him because, as he says, Zora earned that win and at this juncture there’s no way peasants will EVER grovel again. He caught him so that he could remain standing and revel in his victory over as royalty grovels pathetically at his feet. Nothing but commoners and peasants in that room and the lowest of them walked him down.
