i think that i've said it before, but i don't like the current/usual style of rp sending out entire turns of attacks and defending leaves little to no room to actually interrupt without leaving the other person feeling like they wrote half (or more) of their reply for no reason

where they exchange a continuous string of attacks, blocks, and parries my solution to this would be partial replies that'd have a character do a single movement, then the next person comes in for theirs. one person attacks, the other person intercepts or gets hit, or whatever
