Trump’s political problems before the midterms are driving decisions that threaten American security at home and abroad.
He is pursuing a win for himself and Republicans by dropping sanctions on Russia, opening a market for Russian diesel, playing games with Starshield and missile warnings in ways that put Ukrainian lives at risk, and throwing Ukraine under the bus by functionally demanding its capitulation.
The price extends beyond Ukraine. Rewarding Putin weakens American leverage, damages trust among allies, and tells hostile governments that Washington’s commitments can be traded away when the president needs a favorable headline.
An election victory cannot repair the lives lost, restore surrendered territory, or erase the consequences of helping an aggressor survive. Trump is gambling with security that belongs to all of us for political gains that belong to him.

The latest map shows that most UAV activity is currently concentrated in the Bryansk, Kaluga, and Smolensk regions.
In the Bryansk region, new groups of UAVs are being detected, including, according to available reports, jet-powered drones. Additional sightings have been reported near the intersection of the Bryansk, Kaluga, and Oryol regions.
The Smolensk region is also seeing significant UAV activity, with groups scattered across different parts of the region. Fewer sightings have been reported in the Kaluga region, while the Oryol and Tula regions remain relatively quiet.
In the southern direction, isolated UAV sightings continue to be reported in the Belgorod and Voronezh regions.
Overall, the situation is somewhat quieter than on previous maps, but new groups continue to appear. We'll see how things develop.
