Found a few #DMB DVDs at the thrift store tonight. Opened one and found this gem from 2001 inside. Any chance we can bring back this design, @SLessard ?

Fun Fact: This is a story written by the Associated Press, not ABC 33/40. But the AP writer for this story is a current Alabama student who also works at Bama Central. Carry on.
If Georgia lands the No. 1 ranking, it should probably come with an asterisk. The second-ranked Bulldogs benefitted from what appeared to be a blown call in a 20-17 victory at No. 2 Alabama on Saturday night. abc3340.com/sports/universit…

2010 Auburn Record: 14-0 One-score wins: 7 One-score wins by 3 points or fewer: 5 One-score wins against teams with a losing record: 2 Wins on the final play of the game: 3 History should teach us to appreciate the struggle of teams that find ways to win.

Thank you
people are mad when you lose big. people are mad when you lose small. people are mad when you win small. people refuse to accept the wins when they come. dominance doesn’t come over night. culture and standard come over time. tide turns by winning the games you have to win in the moments you have to win them. if you’re unhappy with the loss today, then honestly shame on you. yes there are things to clean up, but everyone did their job well enough to win. celebrate. clean up. carry on.

Any chance of reading this article went out the window when they whiffed on “debut” in the opening sentence. Should @aldotcom bench Goodman?
GOODMAN: Brown tossed three interceptions in his Auburn debt, but as any good coach would do, Alex Golesh attempted to take some of the blame. Would former coach Hugh Freeze have done the same? To the mailbag ...

Russell Westbrook retired today with the most triple-doubles in NBA history. The name written on his wrist for all 18 seasons belongs to the kid UCLA actually wanted. That kid died at 16, and Westbrook spent two decades playing for both of them. Westbrook was a 5'8", 140-pound freshman that no college recruited. The call UCLA's head coach made to his high school in 2004 was about Khelcey Barrs III, Westbrook's best friend from across the street in Hawthorne. A 6'6" phenom pulling scholarship offers as a sophomore. The two had a pact to play at UCLA together, then the NBA. In May 2004, during a pickup game at LA Southwest College, Barrs collapsed on the court. An undiagnosed enlarged heart. Westbrook walked across the street every morning after that to do his friend's chores at his grandmother's house. Then he grew 7 inches, averaged 25 a game as a junior, and took the UCLA offer they were supposed to accept together. From that point on he played like a man carrying two careers. The numbers he put up look like typos. 209 triple-doubles is the most in NBA history, and it took breaking Oscar Robertson's record that stood for 47 years. In 2017 he averaged a triple-double across an entire season, something no human had done since 1962, then did it three more times. 27,176 points, 14th all time. 10,351 assists, 5th all time, behind only Stockton, CP3, Kidd, and LeBron. He did all of it at 6'3" in a league of giants, and outlasted the franchise that drafted him. Seattle picked him 4th in 2008 and stopped existing before he played a game. And in every one of his 1,301 games, he wore two wristbands. One said KB3. The other said "Why not?" People spent 18 years asking why he played every possession like the building was on fire. He was playing for two.
Sometimes you don’t even know when you’ve already watched the end. You had to be there. And now it’s over.

We are only weeks away from college football! My most pressing question: Are @YouTubeTV and @Disney getting along or should we expect a contract dispute a week before kickoff?
