Absolute legend!
On December 30, 1952, London bus driver Albert Gunter dramatically jumped his Route 78 double-decker bus across a rising gap on Tower Bridge. Realizing the bridge was lifting unexpectedly on a green light, the former WWII tank driver accelerated, clearing the opening with 20 passengers on board.... With 20 terrified passengers on board, the red Routemaster leaped across a three-foot gap as the bridge continued to lift. The front wheels landed safely on the opposite side, though the impact broke the suspension and injured Gunter’s leg. Miraculously, everyone survived with only minor injuries. Albert was later rewarded with a £10 bonus for his bravery — roughly £400 today — and became a London legend. His daring leap remains one of the most extraordinary moments in public transport history. #drthehistories

Albert Gunter's Route 78 bus did jump the gap on Tower Bridge on 30 Dec 1952. But this image is fake, not a photo of the event. No photo of the jump is known. Reports put the gap at about 6 feet, much smaller than shown. leadstories.com/hoax-alert/202…

Brilliant!
Get a grocery bag and get to work. I’m sure there are many other variations a creative person could come up with, but these are 3 that we do in my program. Great warm up tools that break up the monotony of the boring stuff. Until next time, doggies.

This is the difference between reading modern books, books from the 1970's, 1920's, and the 19th century.
Let us strive to elevate our locutionary acts.

Love seeing the KC Metro highlighted on Family Weekend. I coached or coached against 2 of these guys while they were in high school and I guarantee they play the way Coach Scott Bostwick expected!
Always a big weekend in The Ville! Excited to honor my big brother and mentor, Scott Bostwick, and the man responsible for why I wanted to be a coach! We will see a bunch of guys playing with their hair on fire!
