BREAKING: Speaker Kevin McCarthy lets the cat out of the bag and admits exactly how the Republican Party is planning to screw over the American people — and exactly how they lied to their voters. During an appearance on Fox News, McCarthy made the jaw-dropping admission that the GOP is going to try their hardest to slash Social Security and Medicare after repeatedly and loudly claiming that they would never do such a thing. McCarthy said the idea would "make some people uncomfortable" but he is going to impanel a "commission" to "look at the entire budget" to find places to cut funding. He accidentally gave Biden credit for ensuring there are no cuts to Medicare or Social Security in the debt ceiling bill because the president "walled off" certain areas from cuts. "The majority driver of the budget is mandatory spending. It’s Medicare, Social Security, interest on the debt," said McCarthy, leaving no ambiguity about his cruel plans. The most disgusting part in all of this is that McCarthy doesn't actually care about "fiscal responsibility." He happily gave massive tax cuts to the rich under Donald Trump, ballooning the deficit. The entire reason he wants to cut social programs is to pave the way for more plutocratic tax cuts for wealthy Republicans.
