Clive Brind's heart issue emerged unexpectedly, and he had to be blue-lighted to the hospital from a pre-Christmas gathering. He was diagnosed with a heart condition, received a pacemaker, and was told he had a leaking aortic valve, which he had replaced through a TAVI procedure.
“It was still a shock when I discovered I had a problem with my heart. There was no history in the family, and I had no real symptoms,” said Clive.
