My dad asked me to get married in the Manti temple so that he could see what was at the top of the spiral staircase.
Brides usually pick their favorite temple for a wedding, but for whatever reason, I said yes to my father's request.
My 44-year old father passed away a year later. I never regret letting him choose. Manti is a special little town with a beautiful temple!
He’s right
UNDERCOVER: GAVIN NEWSOM SAYS THE DSA IS "GOING TO BE DOMINANT" AND "MAINSTREAM" IN THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY!
"The DSA, the energy and the desire and demand for bold change, not incremental change, is very much going to be dominant. I mean, that's going to be a mainstream Democratic movement. Absolutely. No question about that."
That's California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a likely 2028 presidential candidate, speaking to an undercover journalist while campaigning in New Hampshire.
Asked by a "younger voter" who said "we don't want Kamala Harris, we want more democratic socialist policies":
"No one is arguing to manage the status quo and fail more efficiently."
"You can't play in the margins anymore. The system's broken. It's completely unbalanced, and we can't manage the decline. We have to completely reimagine."

Like his take on the election or not, he served our country overseas. He is part of the reason you have the freedom to disagree.
Not everyone can stomach voting for the lesser of two evils. And I've noticed a trend among MY mutuals on X: Those who have served in the military seem to be the least likely to hold their nose and vote.
Some of you may have a different experience.
Got a lot of flak for this, I just wanna say a few things.
1. Me not voting for Blake Moore will have zero impact on anything. That colossal embarrassment is still going to win, so the only thing me voting for him accomplishes is basically throwing away my self respect and morals by voting for a horrendously unqualified candidate.
2. I participated extensively in the convention and primary as a duly designated delegate to the Utah GOP convention. I voted in every contest as a delegate at the convention. I actively supported Karianne Lisonbee in my own district and Phil Lyman in another. It cannot be said I didn't do everything within my extraordinarily limited capability to make a difference and send a message.
3. Voting for candidates you know are not unqualified or behave badly is intellectually and democratically stupid. This simplistic view of "but the democrats are worse" is unconvincing. Yes. The democrats are worse. But rewarding bad behavior gives those behaving badly no incentive to change. They'll go right on behaving badly. So we gotta send them another kind of message so they will either change how they behave or, ideally, make way for a better candidate the next time around.
4. The Utah Second Congressional District is the only race of consequence on my ballot. There are not races for Senator or Governor. If there were, and there were acceptable alternatives than the unimpressive Spencer Cox types, I wouldn't be sitting this one out. But there's not. And withholding my vote for all Republicans in this election is my final option to voice my displeasure in the direction our country and state are heading.
5. Calling me stupid is not an effective argument and will not compel me to vote for Blake Moore.
My daughter got married this weekend!
The ceremony was outside a big barn in Nephi, Utah.
It was pretty emotional because my immune system and heart/lungs meant I was participating by livestream.
She married a sweetheart and I am so grateful for him!

My 7 year old daughter asked me when we got home from the church Halloween party last night if BYU had won.
I told her they had lost.
She replied, "That's okay, they won last week, so it's nice that the other team got to win this time."
She's a sweatheart.

Why didn’t I actively fundraise or seek endorsements?
Because too often they come with strings attached.
I’m running because I don’t believe we’ve been served well.
We deserve better.
Better is on the ballot.

Didn't realize that Trump was being egged to use martial law in the midterms. This article was written 1 day before I started publishing the document dump.
What if I had the timeline of 2027 wrong, and this was supposed to be the actual provocation?

Thank you @BrighamTomco for highlighting the most sardonic part of the @60Minutes interview.
⚫️ Now, let’s connect the Dots of the biggest threat to elections in the state Utah, the rigging of the Gubernatorial Election:
🌻 In the Summer of 2024, in response to a GRAMA appeal, @UtahAG Chief Deputy Daniel Burton denied the existence of any investigation into @GovCox / @LGHendersonUtah candidate petitions. I appealed his denial to the State Records Committee. The @UtahArchives executive secretary refused to schedule my appeal for a hearing.
🍁 In the Fall of 2024, I filed the appeal in Third District Court. In response, Utah Attorney General (AG), doubled down that there is no investigations into Cox/ Henerson candidate petitions.
🌸 In the Spring of 2025, the AG filed a Motion for Summary Judgement: “Clara cannot provide to this Court … any evidence beyond speculation that the records he requests exist”.
👩⚖️ In the Fall of 2025, the Judge ordered: “The court concludes that the AG is entitled to judgment … based on the undisputed facts, GRANTS the AG’s motion for summary judgment, and Orders Clara’s petition for judicial review to be dismissed with prejudice”.
🔎 The following month, a Whistleblower provided us a copy of AG24-170, the investigation into Cox / Henderson candidate petitions.
☃️ In the Winter of 2025, we filed a Rule 60(b) Motion (relief from judgment), in Third District Court: “… AG government employees disingenuously mischaracterized Mr. Clara’s GRAMA request and then lied about the existence of responsive records throughout the administrative process and to this Court.”
📸 In 2026, the Judge ordered: “The Court hereby GRANT’s the Motion for Relief from Judgment … for the reasons set forth on the record.” [see photo].
🐝 We are still in the Discovery process, to date, the AG produced five investigations that were conducted in 2024, of forgeries in the Cox /Henderson candidate petitions: AG24-170, AG24-320, AG24-486, AG24-488, AG24-490.
🗳️ The newly produced AG offense reports reveal that Cox/Henderson were short 1,000+ valid signatures, thus did not qualify to appear on the @UtahGOP Primary ballot.

At the cost of another 13.5% property tax increase?
No. Enough.
We are pricing people out of their homes.
Salt Lake County Mayor Jenny Wilson proposed a 2027 budget focused on changes to the county’s criminal justice system.
Under the proposal, eligible people would be sent to supervised treatment instead of jail. The budget would also modernize and consolidate jail facilities and expand mental health treatment in the jail. kutv.com/news/local/salt-lak…

Utah has verified non-citizens who have voted in multiple elections. Will we see enforcement and justice here?
BREAKING: Federal authorities have begun arresting 28 noncitizens accused of illegally registering to vote in the U.S., with prosecutors saying many actually cast ballots in previous elections.
First Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli says the arrests began early this morning, with at least 11 suspects already in custody and more arrests expected.
The new charges come as the DOJ reports charging 113 noncitizens across 20 states with illegal voting and registration offenses in just seven weeks.
"These are not isolated instances," Essayli says, revealing that the Justice Department has charged 156 people with voting fraud-related offenses since the administration began, adding that federal authorities are investigating thousands of additional potential cases nationwide.

Thx @nataliegwinters
This is worth reading and knowing who these scoundrels are: @BradForGASOS, @mcgraneforidaho @ScottSchwabKS and my personal favorite, the loathsome @LGHendersonUtah
These “Republicans” are plotting with Soros operatives to take the GOP away from MAGA
Remember their names: Brad Raffensperger (GA), Phil McGrane (ID), Scott Schwab (KS) and Deidre Henderson (UT). You can’t despise them enough. I love that @nataliegwinters has outed them. @BasedMikeLee @RealPatProctor @Election_Adv
