This is in Inner Mongolia where this particular seller spends his summers.
We asked him and he moves 5 to 6 times a year, chasing flowers, typically ending up in Yunnan during the winters.
There are actually quite a few of these honey sellers in the Chinese countryside: if you are in a place with many flowers at a given moment, you're more likely than not to see some!
We bought a big 1kg pot of honey for RMB 50 (about $7). Some of the best honey I've ever tried!
