I joined what was Twitter a few years ago for professional reasons. I saw it as good way of keeping up to date with areas of professional interest to me.
However I have decided to come off ‘X’ as I cannot abide the lies, unkindness and cruelty that is on here. Life is too short.

Have tried to make it an interesting 5 minutes linking back to its history, despite the sad message being conveyed. Rising infant mortality linked to poverty and declining health. Interesting correlation as the number of health visitors & school nurses plummet so does the health of children with predictable increases in the childhood mortality rate!
