Andy, this has got to be a joke. Around half of the cost of petrol is composed of tax that you impose. At the current average UK petrol price of 174.7p per litre, around £23.49 of every £50 spent on petrol goes to your Government in tax - 47% of the total bill. If you were serious about cutting the cost of fuel, you would reduce the tax.

The Tories have crowned Rishi Sunak without him saying a word about what he would do as PM. He has no mandate, no answers and no ideas. Nobody voted for this. The public deserve their say on Britain’s future through a General Election. It’s time for a fresh start with Labour.
