To everyone that panicked and went to fuel their cars when it wasn’t needed, well done👍🏻 on shift on an emergency ambulance, low on fuel and struggling to find somewhere that isn’t sold out😡

The whole team & dogs/cats were safely 300m inside the airport perimeter. We were turned away as @JoeBiden @POTUS had changed paperwork rules just 2 hours earlier. Went through hell to get there & we were turned away into the chaos of those devastating explosions. #OperationArk

We have been here for 10 hours after being assured that we would have safe passage. Truly would like to go home now. 🙏🏼 Let’s prove the IEA are taking a different path.

Replying to @BorisJohnson
@BorisJohnson @pritipatel @benwallacemp @carrielbjohnson @ConservativeAWF I don’t know who this special advisor to the defence secretary is but he’s got it so wrong. Pulling off #OperationArk will be a massive pr win for your government which needs any win it can get right now

The current suspension of parking charges in council-owned car parks has been extended from 31 May 2021 to 31 August 2021🚗 Charges still apply to on-street parking spaces and parking restrictions, such as single/double yellow lines, remain in place.

Well well, thank you #borderforce #LHR #travel #UKGov #closedforbusiness: no real excuse: so much for vaccine, 3 paid for -ve Covid tests, fit to fly, track & trace. Fact: U.K. is not prepared for air travel. No summer sun. 2 1/2 hr queuing time. All mantra and no process.

Thank you @Brodieparktenn1 and the local community for raising enough funds to replace the tennis nets @Brodie Park. Without these nets, play would not have been possible this weekend. @tennisscotland @the_LTA @JudyMurrayFdn @JudyMurray @Renfrewcouncil @RenCouncil @qualitysmoke
