Crushing blow to Turkey at the UN!
Greece, the EU, Cyprus, Egypt, Bahrain and the UAE have declared the so-called Turkish-Libyan memorandum null and void.
Voiced by Hellenic Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis, the six stress it remains wholly invalid and contrary to international law, despite its recent ratification by the Libyan parliament.
Such practices, they warn, pose an extremely grave danger to the international legal order. Six voices, one united verdict.

More people voted for Olivia Chow to be mayor than Albertans voted to separate from Canada.
Noise on social media is just that: noise. These people get followers, RTs, but their genuine influence, the issues they complain about are not real.

Give me a break - at an expense if 2.2B to taxpayers and it will never get off the ground

Don’t know if this has been said yet, but Olivia Chow is the first mayor to ever receive over 500,000 votes

Well done BC. You re-elected Con Kristina Loewen, Kelowna Centre.
She amplified anti-vax conspiracy theories, & shared a video of RFK Jr. claiming the government is intentionally making people sick & that cell phone towers cause chronic illnesses.🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

All of the oligarch money that was counting on a corrupt Bolsonaro government is now leaving Brazil. When Republicans are defeated in the US the market will also deflate as AI and server farms become regulated and and the bubble bursts.

🇨🇦🇺🇦 Canadian company Telesat plans to provide Ukraine with an alternative to Starlink by starting to create its own low-orbit satellite network, Lightspeed, which will start operating in early 2028.
Canada does not hide that the reason for abandoning Starlink was the decision of the US government to temporarily limit Ukraine's use of the Starshield system, which disrupted the country's defense operations and left Ukrainians even more vulnerable to continuous Russian attacks.
It has also forced US allies, who are increasingly at odds with the Donald Trump administration, to rethink their dependence on American technology.

Mark Carney: "It's sobering that this is the first time in over two decades that first ministers and First Nations have met together. This is an important opportunity, yes, to share perspectives, to listen, to learn, but above all, to commit to action. So let's seize this opportunity."

Sigamos juntos.
Congratulations, President @LulaOficial, on your re-election in Brazil.
The relationship between Canada and Brazil has flourished under our partnership. Let’s seize this opportunity to make it even stronger, together — to create major new trade opportunities, protect the environment, and build greater prosperity for both our peoples.

What's misleading or wrong
Nothing collapsed. The UK was never a member, so no "coalition" fell apart. The DSRB launched with nine founding backers at the NATO summit in Ankara: Canada, Albania, Belgium, Greece, Latvia, Luxembourg, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine.
It's still going ahead. On the same day, Canada's finance minister issued a statement on setting up the bank, with headquarters in Canada and a European hub in Luxembourg.
It wasn't a "brutal snub." The two countries issued a joint statement saying they had "mutually concluded" it was best to build "two distinct but complementary institutions," and they agreed on a framework to work together. The two banks have different jobs. The UK's MDM focuses on joint buying and stockpiling of military equipment, while the DSRB lends to the companies and supply chains that make it.gov+1
It's not a sudden reversal. The UK had already kept its distance from the DSRB back in September 2025 (European Parliament Research Service). Starmer's chancellor, Rachel Reeves, had also turned it down.
The talks weren't between Carney and Burnham. Burnham has only been PM since July. The decision was led by Chancellor John Healey, the UK's finance minister.
In short: it's true that the UK won't join Canada's defence bank. "Collapse" and "isolated" are false. The bank is moving forward with nine founding countries, and the UK agreed to work alongside it. (Your post also misspells "collapse" as "COLLPASE.")

The new BC govt hasn’t been sworn in yet. Everything we see now is crazy attempts at right wing culture war bills being tabled when they had four leaders in ten months & a topsy-turvy party. I’m willing to give them a chance as I watch (without blinking) as they start governing.
Holy crap, the BC Cons tried tabling a bill making a new statutory holiday called the Freedom Convoy Recognition Day (and abolishing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation).
Replying to @HelloStephano
Bill M 228, the Freedom Convoy Recognition Day Act, would make March 11 a BC statutory holiday passed first reading so yes we'll see more of this culture war #BCpoli
