I love this small interaction. LaMelo is hilarious! It looks like his guard is coming down with the media. One thing about the wolves media they’re not gonna paint him in a negative light so I’m glad he’s showing his personality!💕
Takeaways from last nights game:
🕺🏽🛸💕 Off-Ball Melo was great!
😔 Jaden & JK struggled offensively without a true point guard to set them up. But I feel like this game was needed for Melo at times you have to sacrifice other guys to get your best player going.
1️⃣3️⃣ Ayo was the main facilitator and definitely got LaMelo Ball involved and helped him find a rhythm. He almost had a double-double and we’ve seen him have triple-doubles being our point guard.
😖👎🏾 I really hate that we were in a dog fight with the Milwaukee Bucks. Guys started to be lackadaisical and stopped handling the rock properly.
👥 Bench mob was decent.
This is exactly what I feared, having to play catch up when Ant gets back!
I know we only lost 3 games but those games can separate the number 2nd seed from the 6th/7th seed — the West is no joke. That’s why every single possession matters.
I’m done stressing about Timberwolves. It’s been disappointing. On the bright side, My Vikings play today. #SKOL
6-0! 💜
Oh and I need Jaden McDaniels to be more aggressive— longest tenure player. No excuses for anybody at all!!
Finch did this same thing to Jaden against Giannis his rookie season — we never send help!
This can kill your young players confidence.
Victor Wembanyama was asked in French about Wolves center, Joan Beringer, and why he attacked him so many times:
“It's a team that doesn't help much defensively. If teams helped that little every night, I'd go one-on-one every time.”

Morning thoughts on last night:
I know that lost last night was eating Anthony Edwards up, he hates the Spurs!
Guys need to start playing a smarter brand of basketball because without your best player the margin for error is so small.
These next few games, I don’t wanna hear any excuses. LaMelo does not need to be in foul trouble. He needs to execute and be the player We need him to be— that floor general.
Because our record without Ant is 2-1!
And I’m not letting LaMelo off the hook you’re the best player on the Wolves right now and you’re letting role players outplay you. Wake up man we need a consistent Melo! 😤
Take aways from tonights game:
🔥Jaden & JK defended at an elite level all night, they were locking all their guards up & scoring effectively on the other end!
💰Ayo’s contract was worth it
💔 LaMelo has to be way more smarter
🔒 Clark County Jail
🤯 Beringer will be ready by the time the playoffs start
I don’t care how early it is or who’s out of the rotation we need to win games. Every single game matters in the West!
