Here in Italy, the last days of January are traditionally the coldest days of the year, this is a winter-y illustration from the Feb 99 CoroCoro Comic featuring a lot of Johto Pokémon, you're supposed to find the exact Togepi in the upper-right corner... or whatever you like XD

We've finally finished this series of Pokémon Trainer Artwork! It was probably drawn during the Yellow Pokémon period. (We used scans from the "Can You Play Pokémon?" booklet, a music album released in Japan in 1998).

I think I can explain this note. In the Gen 1/2 anime, South Korea consistently banned episodes of the show that dealt with Japanese culture and had ninjas or samurai or stuff, even ones that were plot important like Ash’s fight with Koga. Seems they were afraid of getting banned

Another official collab with Kagawa prefecture and Slowpoke: udon noodles themed after Pokémon Red and Green (and White). Red is plum, green is olive, and white is plain. I live the retro style art!

Pokemon Timeline:
A newly-translated 1996 Pokédex features lots of interesting info, like that Porygon was created in 1995. Together with its Sun & Moon entries, it seems Gen 7 takes place in 2016, which would make Red 31 years old.
