Yesterday I published on Mammoth Energy $tusk, pointing out 2/3rd of market cap is covered by net cash, financials are inflecting upward, and mgmt has given clarity on strategy to transition into an aviation & industrial rental business.

Greenlight Capital's Q1 came out, showing they bought Crocs $crox during the quarter.
In the letter, Einhorn highlighted that slowdown in US sales are overblown, and that mgmt will buy up to 10% of shares per year.
Check out my recent write up on Crocs:

Published my writeup on Huntsman $HUN
HUN is a chemical producer that is on the cusp of breaking out from a cyclical downturn, but still trading at trough valuations.
I see upside to $30-$40 for HUN, which would be a triple from its current stock price.

Papa John's Pizza $pzza was trading at a 30-35% discount to rumored takeout price of $64 from Apollo yesterday & today.
Looks like that discount is closing fast based on after hours price action.

$pbi is one of my top convictions stocks, with an overlooked operational turnaround underway, a management team that is 100% aligned with shareholders, a massive buyback authorization, and supportive technicals.

Recently I have been incorporating more technical and sentiment analysis. I believe this is part of my continuous improvement process as an investor.
To truly master investing, IMO you must move to the intersection of fundamental, technical, and sentiment analysis.

$tusk sold fracking equipment for $15M. Small $ amount but confirms mgmt looking to exit low margin fracking business which is a good sign.
Still trading for less than net cash (!) although discount has narrowed since I last wrote it up in April:

With the latest sale, $tusk is trading way below net cash value of $160M with a big share buyback program announced... seems like a big market disconnect to me.

One of the 7 federal agencies shuttered by DOGE on Friday is the most DOGE-able agency of all time. FMCS (before the pandemic!) had a 9-story K Street tower for 60 employees. Its halls were lined with oil paintings of those employees, and other art purchased from the boss's wife

Reminder for federal employees:
You work for the people of the United States.
If you are part of the executive branch (which you likely are), you ultimately report to the president of the United States. Whether you voted for him or not, he’s your boss. Even if you think he’s an idiot or a fascist or a Russian asset.
You are not entitled to a job with the federal government. No matter how many years’ tenure you might have, and irrespective of whatever your collective bargaining agreement might claim, it is a privilege to work for the American taxpayers, not a right.
You are immensely privileged to get to work for the federal government. Not only are you paid fairly and afforded great work-life balance, you likely participate in an extremely generous defined benefit retirement plan, something few private-sector employees now have.
The federal government does not exist to provide you a job.
The American taxpayers do not pay a significant portion of their income in order to provide you a sinecure.
If you are not creating value for the American people, either your role within the government should not exist or you should not be the person filling that role. Or both.
If you do not recognize and appreciate these facts, you should seek employment elsewhere.
If your background and skillset do not lend themselves to private-sector employment, you should be especially grateful for the role you have.
Never forget: You work for us. We don’t exist to serve you.

$zim is my favorite name for 2025:
1) Majority of market cap covered by cash
2) Will earn > half its market cap next year if shipping rates don't collapse
3) High short interest
4) Huge dividends (15%+ yield last Q)
5) Big shareholder just exited reducing selling pressure

Coursera $cour looks interesting!
-Leader in online learning
-Half of $1.4B market cap is cash
-Huge growth opp with corporate/university
-Already generates FCF even if small loss on GAAP basis
-50 DMA about to cross 200 DMA & breaking out of 6 month consolidation
Thoughts?
