Ken Casey says he knows that Dropkick Murphys will lose fans because of their stance on fascism. But it's important, he says.
“You got to speak up against it and you got to be ready to be there and tell it like it is.”

Just imagine he's wearing this when you hear "Can't Stop the Rain" on @Highway309
Was an honor to be nominated and to perform at the @AmericanaFest Awards last night! Got to wear this incredible custom suit by Batter Head Workroom (Rachel Epperson). Congrats to all the winners 🙌❤️

Cheers to my old pal, @StaxRecords soul great Eddie Floyd on his 85th birthday! Here's a live rip through "Big Bird" from way back in 2008 you may have missed: theperlichpost.blogspot.com/…
Could not agree more with @kcmtconcerts. If you can't go see @casadecalexico - hear them on Highway309 - where you never know what you're about to hear, but we guarantee - it WILL be good!

Calexico this Saturday, Bimbo’s, San Francisco. Been begging them to return to Santa Barbara, but SF it is! @casadecalexico are sublime, eclectic and brilliant, a uniquely American band unlike any other. So good. Go see them.
To make meaningful change, someone has to step up. Kudos to @JasonIsbell
The autumn tradition returns: @JasonIsbell kicks off his 2022 Ryman Residency in Nashville this fall with a guest list that showcases sounds of the African diaspora and Latin America. rol.st/3yaHmg0
