Dom (A$AP Rocky) × Malcolm conversation from Dope (the golden-age hip-hop scene + the favor): Dom: Yo, man. I be seein’ you and your little friends with y’all flattops and MC Hammer pants, riding around in this shit looking like y’all came out of a DeLorean or some shit. What’s up with that anyway? Malcolm: You know, the ’90s was like the golden age of hip-hop. Everything from It Takes a Nation of Millions… to The Blueprint was killing it. I guess me and my friends just wish we grew up back then. Dom: It Takes a Nation came out in ’88. Blueprint came out in 2001. What the fuck are you talking about right now? Malcolm: Technically, um— but you know, the spirit of the music was definitely still ’90s. I mean, It Takes a Nation, Straight Outta Compton… Paid in Full was ahead of their time. And then you got Snoop, Biggie, Wu-Tang. They took the game to the next level. Blueprint was kind of like the punctuation mark. Dom: Let’s not forget, the ’90s also gave us Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer… and we can’t forget about the Fresh Prince. Malcolm: Everything in the ’90s wasn’t great, but… oh shit… you gotta admit Summertime is a classic. #hiphopstandards

We need to see Shedeur!
Shedeur Sanders had nothing to do with the loss to the titans. Should’ve been 5-2 in 7 starts without play calls like this but…

REPLAY ⏪🚨 Problem goes OFF as he defends Kendrick Lamar while addressing the continued backlash over Drake’s 2024 rap battle LOSS during an appearance with Glasses Malone at Baller Alert’s studio with Ferrari Simmons. Problem says he’s tired of people questioning why they’re celebrating Kendrick’s victory, arguing that fans and friends should be allowed to show love to the person who WON the battle. He compares it to celebrating a winning sports team instead of constantly revisiting the losing side. He also suggests Drake’s supporters are struggling to accept the outcome because they expected him to win, adding that some industry figures in Atlanta, Miami and New York benefited financially from their relationships with Drake. Problem, who admits he was a huge Drake fan before the battle, says he can no longer connect with his music the same way because of the change in Drake’s energy and persona following the loss. His biggest point? It’s not about hating Drake. It’s about loving Kendrick, celebrating their friend’s victory and refusing to pretend the 2024 outcome didn’t happen. As Problem puts it, no amount of revisiting the conversation will change the fact that Kendrick WON. 🏆

Who can beat Ye?
Nas ain’t a stretch. He’s the reason the bar exists. Illmatic rewired the debut. Then he spent 30 years refusing to become a museum. “N.Y. State of Mind.” “Ether.” “One Mic.” “Made You Look.” That’s not a playlist — that’s scripture the culture still quotes. Ye moved the plates. Nas drew the original map. Jay built the house. Kendrick filled the stadiums. Drake filled arenas. Kendrick brought the modern crown. Drake 200 writing credits on iceman. Nas is the fourth name the list was scared to write.
