On August 21, we ventured after hours into the Orange County Regional History Center for History After Dark: Swamp Legends for a real life edition of 'Night at the Museum' - just without Ben Stiller in tight pants. From gator lore, to the Skunk Ape foot prints, to the "Creature from the Black Lagoon" (yes, filmed at Silver Springs 🎬), this adults-only night dove into the myths, legends, and mysterious creatures that have haunted Florida's swamps for generations. Guided tours, cryptid presentations, themed drinks, live music, and courtroom trials inside the historic 1927 courthouse — we did it all. 🎥👇 Ready for the next History After Dark? 👀 San Juan Speakeasy is coming October 30!  Thank you to the @doporlando for sponsoring this one. 🙌 📍 Orange County Regional History Center, 65 E Central Blvd, Downtown Orlando #Sponsored #DowntownOrlando #HistoryAfterDark #OrlandoHistory #ThingsToDoOrlando FloridaFolklore DowntownOrlandoPartnership instagr.am/p/DdEswgxRtxn/
