Fall baking bonanza! Banana bread and pumpkin bread fresh from the oven.

It’s strange when it feels like it’s been so long since we talked. Then I remember it’s only been a couple of days.

I found one of those Twitter relationship charts from 2021, the kind that show you who you talk to most or whatever. It’s amazing how many people I still see but also who are just gone from my experience, likely never to cross paths again. Time does pass us by sometimes.

In the top ten of miserable sentences: “But before we get straight to the baking, let me share a little story that inspired this sweet creation.”

Is my kitchen the most organized? No. But can I find what I need in it anyway? Also no. But despite the obstacles is the food a triumph? Well, no, and I’m not really sure where I was going with this.

Usually I make stuff from scratch. I happen to see these in the store while grocery shopping and you know what? I’m an adult and can make what I want.

I just passed a car with a license plate that read CRMP1E. An aficionado of baked goods, no doubt.

I’m no one’s favorite account but if I can make someone smile or think once in a while, that’s enough.

I guess if I have to share the bed, at least she won’t snore. Probably.
