Go where you are wanted
Recruiting Advice: as you navigate this last year of HS, seriously consider the school that has SHOWN you they want you the most. It may not fit or work, but find every reason to say no before you actually say no. Don’t worry about “level” or any of that. Sit down, and really look at what coaches have shown you are a PRIORITY to them and their program.

Junior guard Jordan Cain led the St. John Fisher men's basketball team with 21 points, but the Cardinals fell to Division II Daemen 74-66 in an exhibition at the KeyBank Center on Saturday. sjfathletics.com/news/2026/1…
PSA’s, I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again…if you’ve taking a visit(official or unofficial); you owe that coach a heads up before seeing commitment post! That goes for anyone advising the PSA too!
Will be a great day of Hoops! Come out to support our guys and program!

Week 1 is in the books…Congratulations to our Practice Players of the Week! PPOTW consistently meet the standards of our program: Toughness, Enthusiasm, Sacrifice, and a TEAM 1st Attitude. Kudos to these two Sophomores for setting the tone during the first week of practice!

Everyone obsesses over level in recruiting, but here's the truth: After you graduate, no one cares what level you played.
Employers love hiring former athletes. Period.
Not because they were D1, D2, or D3, but because being a college athlete proves you have discipline and work ethic.
Our staff will be at the following events:
•Hoop Group NYC Fall Elite Camp
•Binderhoops Select 60 Showcase
•NYC Academic Elite Showcase
If you are attending any of these and want to be evaluated, DM us!!!

You get the full benefits of going college when you stay at one place for four years and get a degree
- The network
- Lifelong relationships
- Professors that know you
- Long-term career guidance
Transferring can be the right move for some, but it should not be the goal from the start
Do your research and find a school that fits your interests - not just your sport.

Things you'll never have to worry about for D3:
- Pros returning to college to take roster spots
- Losing an affordable education due to injury
- A new transfer taking your financial aid
- Not being able to take classes seriously
- Missing out on internships due to practice
What'd we miss?

On Teams,
1. It’s not if you talk. It’s if they can HEAR you.
2. It’s not just about passing. It’s about passing the ball ACCURATELY.
3. It’s not just about running the Floor. It’s about SPRINTING the Floor.
4. It’s not about playing through contact. It’s INITIATING contact.
