Statement on behalf of Terry McDermott and his family
We are heartbroken by the loss of our dear friend, Kevin Keegan.
Kevin was so much more than a teammate. He was a lifelong friend whose warmth, loyalty, humour and passion for football touched so many lives. The memories they shared, both on and off the pitch, will be treasured forever.
Although Terry’s dementia means he is no longer able to express his feelings publicly, we know how much Kevin meant to him and how deeply this loss would have affected him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Jean, Laura, Sarah and all of Kevin’s family at this incredibly sad time. We hope they find comfort in the love and respect being shown for Kevin by so many people.
Kevin was one of football’s true greats, but to Terry he was, above all, a cherished friend.
He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. #nufc #lfc

🏴🗣️ Eddie Howe on stories linking Bruno to Manchester United:
"For me, it’s a nonsense story. Is it a problem for us? I don't necessarily think it is a problem for us.
"But it is unwanted news, I suppose, is the best way to put it. You don't want the players distracted.
"To say our captain is in discussions with another club is totally disrespectful to Bruno more than anything else. He is totally committed here."

🚨 Eddie Howe on reports about Bruno Guimarães to Man United dome deal: “I don’t know how to respond… it’s a waste of energy”.
“It’s unwanted news. You don’t want your players distracted … I don’t know how much they’ll absorb that”.
“He’s totally committed here”. 🖤🤍
Romano now saying a deal would mean negotiations with #NUFC after all day yesterday of me calling ever transfer link bullshit or fake news. 🤣
Social media trying to unsettle players doesnt work the best does it ISAK. Leave it to the clubs who know what they are doing.
🚨🇧🇷 No release clause is included into Bruno Guimarães deal at Newcastle for this summer.
£100m clause expired in June 2024, no longer valid.
Any deal would take a negotiation with #NUFC amid links of recent days.

VAR was brought in to help the fine margin decisions, not this level of offside. What in the actual fuck was that linesman doing? 3 of the fuckers offside, and 2 by a yard.
Sack the prick on 90 mins.
