I suspect Carney is trying to buy off content creators the same way Trudeau bought off the MSM.

As much as I don’t care to promote @gofundme, I’ll make an exception here.
Ken Kunkel, a cadet leader supervising young cadets selling poppies in Hamilton, faces a life-altering injury and uncertain future after a brutal, horrific attack by a 12-year-old boy and a 48-year-old woman.
Please help him if you can, and pray for him and his family.

I am disgusted by the brutal attack on a Canadian Armed Forces member supervising young cadets selling poppies in Hamilton.
He stepped in after the cadets were assaulted. He was left with injuries police describe as life-altering.
He was helping young Canadians honour those who served. He should have gone home safely to his family.
No child should fear violence while selling a poppy. No Canadian should be brutalized for standing up for them. Those responsible for this cowardly attack must face the full consequences of the law.
My prayers are with this member, his family, and the young cadets affected by this horrific violence.
As Remembrance Day approaches, wear your poppy proudly. Support our veterans. And stand with the Canadians who serve and protect us.

Mark Carney said his Liberal government would spend less and balance the "operating" budget.
Even after he cooked the books, his own government figures show operating expenses are up, while debt, deficits, and taxes continue to get worse.

The 48-year-old woman who has been charged with assault after allegedly joining two 12-year-olds in beating up a man that was supervising Air Cadets selling poppies has not been named by the Hamilton Police.
The police are under no obligation to hide the identity of the 48-year-old woman. She has been arrested and charged with assault.
This is a disgusting story with multiple eye witnesses.
Why is the Hamilton Police protecting this woman’s identity?

You're out here demanding pure “representation by population” for Calgary’s provincial MLAs while treating Alberta’s own long-standing under-representation in Ottawa as background noise. You promoted "No to the 9" last month. Cute.
MLAs sit in the Alberta Legislative Assembly in Edmonton. They do not report to Ottawa, do not sit in the House of Commons, and are not federal representatives. Your “Alberta in Ottawa / Calgary from Edmonton” line is totally misguided, and not a description of how government works. Mixing the two levels so casually is the kind of bullshit I expect from someone who thinks every grievance looks the same when it involves his city.
On the map itself: Alberta law and the Supreme Court’s effective-representation standard (not strict one-person-one-vote) expressly allow population variances, generally ±25%, with limited larger deviations for remote ridings. That's because rural MLAs cover vast geography, longer travel times, and thinner infrastructure. The Independent Advisory Panel’s 91-seat recommendation (adding seats, including in Calgary) is the product of that framework after earlier maps were rejected.
Treating every Calgary riding above the 53,722 average as proof the city is “short two MLAs” simply discards the rural-access factors the Charter requires panels to consider. Whether the specific lines are optimal is debatable; pretending the law demands pure population parity is not.
Your selective outrage is the real tell. You spent months loudly opposing Alberta’s separation referendum (calling the question “BS,” warning of capital flight, and campaigning for a strong Alberta inside Canada) while simultaneously floating Calgary “fair deal” plebiscites that recycle the exact Alberta-vs-Ottawa equalization rhetoric you treat as illegitimate when applied to the province.
When the under-representation argument serves Calgary against the rest of Alberta, it’s a crisis of democracy. When it serves Alberta against Ottawa and risks separation talk, it’s instability that must be shut down.
Pick a lane. Consistency would require applying the same standard in both directions.

The realities of renewables in cold, dark locations.
“Yukon Energy planned to connect a $35-million Whitehorse battery-storage system to the grid this year, describing it as “crucial” for improving grid stability. But the batteries froze during last December’s cold snap after generators that had been keeping them warm failed…
Energy think tanks, such as the Pembina Institute, promote adoption of renewable generation throughout the North to replace diesel generators. But the Yukon government says it has already reached the limits of its ability to incorporate renewables.
Mr. Laking said the territory’s solar facilities actually drew more power than they generated during the cold snap, owing to the energy used to heat them.”

November 10, 12 & 13: The dates of my appeal trial at the BC Supreme Court.
I am appealing a ruling that found me guilty of "unprofessional conduct" for advocating for the rights of women and children in my off-duty time.
My regulator, the BC College of Nurses, investigated me at the behest of a cancellation mob after receiving complaints from members of the public I've never met. I have never had a patient complaint. I was dragged through years of disciplinary hearings, lasting longer than a murder trial. (My fight was made possible by @JCCFCanada and @LDBildy.)
After my guilty verdict, I was told I would face a 1 month suspension and had to pay $94,000 to the BCCNM. My employer of 13 years, Vancouver Coastal Health, fired me with no severance, and no way to even collect EI. I was a single mom with 2 young boys. The suspension and $94k was put on hold for the appeal. My name is blacklisted and I essentially was pushed out of the profession entirely.
I first noticed the rise of gender ideology a decade ago, and I was fascinated and repulsed that women were being told to shut up about their experiences to make way for people who identify as us. Then I came to understand that paediatric "gender affirming care" is a terrible medical scandal, probably worse than the lobotomy. I began to write about the topic and, with another BC woman, began to organize events to discuss gender ideology. We faced vicious threats, protests, and attempts to shut us down. Later, of course, I was involved in a billboard project that drew a lot of ire from trans activists.
Never could I have imagined that life would go in this direction: being smeared as a bigot across the country; losing my career and long-term financial stability; and spending 6+ years in a protracted legal battle.
I'm still fighting because I care about the truth, free speech (for all of us, but especially for regulated professionals, who don't deserve to be policed in their private lives and forced to go along with state orthodoxy), and women's rights. Please follow along for updates.

Canadian PM Mark Carney has introduced or passed at least four bills that regulate speech or online content (C-9, C-34, C-25 and C-16), plus three that expand surveillance (C-22, C-8 and C-2).
He's obsessed with controlling people.
And he's accusing @elonmusk of censorship?
