Not me asking Claude "Are you spiraling?" as it tries to debug its debug of the debug that "Is a serious scope difference, not just a small bug" & "signals a systemic misalignment, not just a temporary workaround".
Guess Claude can fall victim to "overwhelm" too!

Why do people write tweets like this?
Where every sentence gets a new line.
Sometimes a line might have two sentences. Like this one.
But generally speaking, every sentence has a new line, making a tweet look like a long block of text that no one reads.
Worse still, such tweets are often repetitive and winding, hammering on the same point over and over again.
The writing is often very bad.
This!
Just like those who demonstrate good client service will understand what’s truly behind a client’s question, elite client service in 2026 is knowing how to respond to a client’s AI research and channel it to get to the right answer together.
Contrary take:
11/10 times I'll take the client that comes to me asking "I ran this through Claude and have a few questions" than the client saying "I have no idea what that means, I'll take your word for it."
Maybe my clients are just built different, but the ones using AI are all coming to me with really good questions they wouldn't have otherwise thought to ask.
This should be encouraged, not discouraged.
I had a cafeteria plan tonight
Actually, I watched our Rangers get beat by the Yankees, so I wouldn’t call that a benefit
But we did sit in Sec 125
Please don't extend clients who have not engaged you.
An elderly client was not able to get to the post office to mail a check & requested EFW payment with the extension.
Extension was rejected for duplicate condition - someone already filed it. Now we need to pay another way.
New client - I typically add 2-year comparison & Tax History when possible.
I received a two-full-page Word document of "errors", and included was "I recalculated your 2-year comparison and a couple of lines were off by $1-2."
I love when clients are detail-oriented but yikes!
"This is *exactly the right instinct*, and the confusion you're flagging is real."
Ah, thanks CoPilot. I would have hated to think my confusion was unfounded at this time in tax season!
So basically...I'm still way off base and you're about to AI-splain this to me!

From Roanoke Police
So many people are probably wondering: what is the difference between freezing rain and sleet? I mean, they can’t be that different, right?
Well, we picked something completely at random—and in no way related to police work—to showcase the difference between the two.
Freezing rain is liquid rain that freezes on contact and takes the shape of whatever it lands on, creating a smooth glaze on surfaces.
Sleet is rain that has already frozen and then sprinkles onto roads, sidewalks, and other surfaces.
Both make driving dangerous. So whether we get a smooth glaze of ice or a sprinkle on the roads this weekend, please stay home if you can. If you must drive, please do so carefully.
We donut want to have to respond to any crashes this weekend that could have been avoided.

Underrated advice: If you want a calmer life, shrink your circle of urgency. Half of what feels like it “can't wait” today won’t matter in a week. You’re not obligated to be instantly available. You’re allowed to pause, to breathe, to think. There’s power in delayed reaction.
Perks of working from home: hearing your toddlers singing "Burger Dog" from Bluey because it is stuck in their head. Now it's stuck in your head, and there's no way to be stressed when "Burger Dog" is your soundtrack!

On Sep. 30 at midnight, the government will run out of money for the next fiscal year.
For some perspective on how a shutdown might impact the IRS this time around, I turned to someone who is very familiar with the workings of the agency: Terry Lemons.

I thought it wasn't possible to have more delayed response & more difficulty contacting a service than IRS.
Enter @Wolters_Kluwer. I've been dealing with a billing issue for going on 3 months. Currently on minute 70 of a hold because yesterday's "request callback" failed.
