And so for all of you, I have two words—two words—cry more. I just wanted to get that off my chest because I've been f*^ked off at these people for so long.

Mehdi Hasan has LOST HIS VOICE
"History has been made tonight, the first Muslim to be elected to the United States Senate.
No mention of Israel. People say he's obsessed with Israel. His lines are about affordability, but he did mention Gaza.
He did talk about the humanity of being able to see Palestinian children and not wanting to be killed and being called hateful for it.
If he does that in DC, he's going to transform politics."

They try to call you hateful if you believe that Palestinian kids should get to grow up in the land of their forefathers without being murdered by our tax dollars.
If you believe in equal rights to peace, dignity, and self-determination, that's not hate. It's love.
Michiganders, we want our taxes spent here.

Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed said he hopes his campaign sends a message of inclusion as he seeks to become the first Muslim elected to the U.S. Senate.
Speaking to reporters on Election Day, El-Sayed emphasized his campaign's priorities, including getting money out of politics and expanding access to health care, while reflecting on what a historic victory could mean for Americans who have faced discrimination.

Mara Gay (who went to college with El-Sayed) on Morning Joe:
One thing you learn when you're not a white American is that it sometimes doesn't matter what you want to talk about.
The more the Republicans try to make it about Islamophobia, the angrier voters appear to be getting because they want to talk about health care. They want to talk about why they can't afford their lives.
He decided to run because he cares about Michiganders. I know that. He can be very stubborn. He also cares about people.
