DTCC’S NADINE CHAKAR & SERGEY NAZAROV AT SIBOS 2026
Nadine Chakar, Managing Director & Global Head of @The_DTCC Digital Assets, joined @SergeyNazarov to discuss what it takes to bring tokenization to market scale.
As Nadine put it: “We shouldn’t care which rail it’s on, what type of asset it is; we should care that it’s interoperable, it’s compliance-aware, & that it’s operating 24/7 anywhere that a client needs to manage risk.”
On tokenized equity, Sergey added: “This AppChain and the tokenization of equity in this reliable institutional-grade form will accelerate the use of tokenized stock.”

Overheard at Sibos:
“No chain is stronger than its weakest oracle.”
For institutions moving trillions onchain, infrastructure risk becomes financial risk.
That’s the whole game.

If you want the real secret to sales, it’s not getting the other person to like you, it’s learning to like the other person.
Good salesmen get someone to understand.
Great salesmen get someone to feel understood.

Also sad that Bam is just never included in DPOY convos lol. I get that he doesn't quite have some of the rim protection impact stuff and that's insanely Important, but what he's asked to do is incredibly difficult. Kinda reminds me of cornerbacks who play a ton of zone with safety help and then get praised for not giving up a lot of yards, meanwhile some CBs are asked to play island man-to-man against the best WRs in the game and get clowed for giving up yards. But they're only in the position to even try and lock guys down one-on-one cause they are uniquely gifted and they allow other guys on the defense + the coaching staff to do a bunch of other things that make the defense more dangerous as a whole. Feel like Bam has that sort of situation going on, where he's put in a spot for his individual numbers to suffer a bit but he helps everyone else be a better defender with his versatility and skillset.

This is exactly why I shit on the GTM Engineers on here
What you do is mostly busy work
All the lead and account scoring and agentic workflows you build are based on incorrect and outdated data
So you feel good about all this work your do but it’s mostly meaningless
The best way to verify if a lead or company is worth your time?
Call into the account and find out
The old fashioned way
Sales reps that default to action and revenue generating activities will beat any wiz kid GTM engineer
Imma be real a lot of these GTME guys are overtooling and overcomplicating their job to justify their job most early stage teams don’t need an autonomous agent to map out edge case logic for a routine outbound motion they just need a tight list solid data and a fast feedback loop b2b has lost the plot for a couple quarters now keep setting up your clay stack that maps api calls or whatever we’re gonna keep hitting the market with dials and uncover the info the internet can’t find

Jimmy Butler on Pelle Larsson (2024)
“He just does everything. He can shoot the ball, he can handle the ball, he can finish, he can guard. I think as the game continues to slow down for him, he’s just going to get more comfortable and better.
It’s really going to be hard for [Erik Spoelstra] to take him off the floor. I like the way that I always see him in early, leaving late. Honestly, he reminds me of myself whenever I was younger in this league. He can probably shoot the ball a lot better than I did, though."

One of the most gifted instinctual players to ever touch a ball at his peak everything you want out of a guard outside of the 3p shooting ridiculous player
Wade was recently talking about his ‘09 campaign where he felt worthy of MVP
He lead the league in scoring at 30 a game, ranked 3rd in DPOY, averaged 1.3 BPG (everybody who ranked above him in blocks was a PF or Center), 2nd behind CP3 in steals, averaged nearly 8ast (everybody in front of him was a PG), and shot nearly 50% from the field on a league leading 22FGA.
He also played a career high in games at 79, but was unfortunately on an underwhelming 43 win Heat team, helping lead to one of the strongest non-MVP seasons in history
His classic game winner against Chicago comes from, quite possibly the greatest single game of his career

Founders get into YC and immediately chase the wrong things.
Big launches, investor coffee chats, polishing the announcement tweet.
None of that builds a better product.
The only obsession that matters is your users.
Talk to them constantly, fly out to meet them if you have to.
Understand their problems better than anyone else in the room.
Everything else during YC is just noise dressed up as productivity.
