The B.A.A. has announced that if road races can take place as part of the MA reopening plan, the 125th Boston Marathon will be held on Monday, October 11. A virtual race option will also be offered in celebration of the 125th Boston Marathon. Read more -> bit.ly/Fall2021BM

Due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases in Massachusetts, we will not be able to confirm a fall @bostonmarathon date until early 2021. The B.A.A. will continue to work with city and state officials in preparation for a safe return to in-person racing in the fall.
