The other @Ardbeg drams that I had on Thursday at the @HopVault were similarly top notch. Thanks tp my good mate @ardbaggie for supplying the bottles and talking through his passion for Ardbeg. All that for £30 - that's value at its very best. Bravo to all concerned

This old style @Ardbeg 10, that I had on Thursday night, at the @HopVault in Stourbridge courtesy of @Ardbaggie was just a stunning dram. Rumoured to contain 14 yo Ardbeg, and dating back to around 2000, this is a triumph of the whisky makers art.

Cask ale is on life support in its home country, and it’s not because the beer isn’t delightful. When fresh, it is. The problem is that old orthodoxies have defended an indefensible practice. It never had to be this way.

☕ It is with a little sadness to tell you that we are no longer doing coffee at Record Culture.
We've loved having one of the best coffees in Stourbridge. Sadly it is no longer viable for us to continue with it.
On the plus side our neighbours at @HopVault are taking it on 👌🏻

Absolute bunkum.
The overall impact of today’s duty changes are to force most prices UP.
It’s Government created inflation at during a serious cost-of-living crisis.
Great to see we are backing our pubs - and great to see another benefit of Brexit! Let’s keep going!

We're going bigger & better and, as such, we still have some availability.
We're particularly welcoming at this point of arts, clothing, merch traders. If you fit the bill & fancy it, reach out🙏

Two of my key wholesale suppliers have now informed me that they will only be able to deal with draught duty paid products and no option for full duty paid, meaning we will have to cease growler fills from August. @HMRCgovuk you need to find a sensible work around! 1/2

We're super excited that @PoutinePunks are heading our way to cater for hungry record fair visitors! For the uninitiated, poutine is a Canadian creation of chips, cheese curds, and gravy and we’re reliably informed it is ridiculously good scran! 😋

We’re thrilled to announce that Stourbridge’s craft ale good guys @HopVault will be running a pop-up bar at the event, slinging beers your way throughout!
Top tip: it’s a great spot for further refreshments post-event too, where they will be open until 10pm 🫶
