Here’s a fun paper that we just published in JCIM: machine learning to correlate LC retention times with molecular partition coefficients.

Hey #TeamMassSpec
@ScoHoDigDaSnow and I are proud to share our @PCCP perspective on what ions do inside a DMS/FAIMS cell. But don't panic, because this hitchhiker's guide to DMS translates the field into a language understandable by all academic levels.

These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG

So you've heard of chiral derivatization, but have you ever seen it done during electrospray just by protonation?
Neither had we until recently! Check out our report of this strange behaviour, which is now available in @angew_chem

Our latest benchmark of MobCal-MPI for parallelized collision cross section calculations is now in press. Several DFT and semi-empirical methods (eg. PM7) give CCSs that agree with <3% error from experimental value.
Stay tuned for more😀
