I have heard this morning that I am through to the last five for the election of the Chancellor of Oxford University.
I am grateful to and want to thank all those who have supported me. The final vote will be in the week starting on 18 November.
On a day when I am holding my breath that Trump and his vitriol do not succeed, I count myself fortunate to be part of such a pleasant and polite electoral process.
