My final thought is there is a type of hopefulness this show has compared to modern shows. Let's look at Smoking behind the supermarket with you as a contrast. There is a expectation in this show that everyone will eventually get careers, that this is a season in their life.

In SBTSWY, that hope is gone. The mc is in a dead end job, so is the female mc. It's two beat down people just getting by and coping in a world that doesn't care for them. And I think that's kind of sad, in a way. To see the dream lost and pulled into the gutter.

It's interesting. It's dramatic. And it is not following any of the modern rules of anime. Which is to be expected, it's older then the rules in the first place. A good example of the rule being shattered is the idea of a guy studying to get in college and gets the girl.

In 99% of romcom anime, this happens in the last episode. In Maison, Godai got into college within the first ten episodes and still does not have the girl. I think it's because I know these modern tropes that seeing them not be there in the original is so interesting to me.

Maison Ikokku really has me impressed the further I go into it. I'm 39 episodes in, and while some episodes can be safely skipped as filler, most cannot. Episode 38 really impressed me with it changing pov from Godai to Kosue, and showing how his reluctance to make a choice-

-is extremely harmful. I've never seen a romcom protag shown this way. Normally indecisiveness is for a gag, a setup for more misunderstandings. But that episode, just by changing the pov, shows how toxic it is. Essentially they have entered a relationship of convience.

I just had a realization that the synantic value engine, that being those old chatbots now can be made to the scale of a llm, and be even faster then anything ever before. I was tinkering on datanet on a break and realized that the issue, creating the impossibly massive tree-

-can now be solved with ai filling it out. In other words, it's a fake llm. It's a ai that only uses keyword and metatext, but it can't actually think. Instead, it just simply matches the clause and effect. It's simple, and it's such a old tech that it works on a potato.

Boys. It's beginning. This is a project I dreamed of making nearly 18 years ago. I think I figured out the perfect plan to get it running. This is just the first build. I have to get .Slate support implemented asap.

Ah, let me explain. So this is Datanet. It's essentially a offline internet emulator sim. So you would install modules called Data Slates, and this would expand your local Internet. The key is unlike normal archive readers, it will populate it with "Persona Bots".

When you add a second Data Slate, you will be given the option to let PBs on one slate be able to explore the other ones. This should give the impression of other Internet users browsing, interacting, fueding, ect. Basically, it's the dead Internet in a bottle. That's the idea.

-means is that the PBs will have their behavior, which had scheduling and rules, and will populate content based on date differential of world state. Websites can also have timed updates using the system calandar system as well. This should create interesting storytelling.

These bots will read the websites on here, learn based on simple value judgement and post on fourms, write emails and interact with each other. This will be done using a procedual synantic value tree instead of a llm. Datanet is also tied to your system calandar. What this-

My latest writing project is about a cult in the Wyoming wilderness, building showa era fortified towns while all their media is being produced by a Kami, a ai within a shrine within the compound. They believe Gesai is invading the earth. And here's the thing: They are right.

Let me see. I've settled on Niobora county in Wyoming. It's one of the only places in America I can see people setting up walled compounds and actually not being that suspicious.

Btw, I am investigating Japan's MILT, the ties to former governor of Yokohama Kuroiwa, their establishment and the strange coincidences that occurred following the Fukushima disaster. Namely, the mass crackdown on Yakuza from 2013 onwards. I think I may have discovered a big-

The more I dig into it, this friends of the stars association and the Kajima corporation keep popping up as a constant throughline connected to corruption.

Here's the early graph for the time being. It will have more connections as I go on.
