If you have authors whose real identify is hidden, it *might* not cause problems. But if none of your authors are identified, this makes it hard for Google to determine they can trust your content.
CTR on all the pages of the site seems to be a strong signal for Google (as i can see on some websites).

Super important for site owners to understand and something I have hammered in my posts about broad core updates. Site quality isn't about a handful of urls. It's about the site overall. Don't fix one or two things. Improve it all and over the long-term.
