What's confusing me here is how with japanese voice actors they quite literally do the same thing when acting, especially given the project, role, and direction they're doing they aren't sounding like normal people.
Why is there such an insane double standard when it comes to English Voice Actors and them literally doing what they're being paid to do.

There is a reason why japanese people love japanese voice acting even more than foreigners do (anime seiyuus are actual celebrity idols there) and english anime VAs are bumass nobodies.
Ah thats pretty easy to explain and something most of people noticed when it first came out, the "plain" translations they showed in these examples many times were either wrong or made as plain as possible.
Nobody is telling blacks to "make their own manga" (outside of japanese that tend to use manga to simply describe comics) , people are telling them to make their own works, you had to frame it like this to be disingenous.
