Best combined seasons from the football and basketball teams in a long time, and certainly in my lifetime. What a time to be a Coug!
Notre Dame wore off on the Cougs. We’re electing to not play good football if the officiating is going to be terrible anyways.🤷♂️
So many things wrong with the roughing the kicker penalty. An all-time bad call.
The worst part of it all is that the call wasn’t even the worst part of it all. We deserved to lose for so many reasons, but also never should have lost, for so many reasons.
Peak heartbreak.
Yesterday it was go Cougs. Today it’s go Cougs. Tomorrow it will be go Cougs. It will always be go Cougs.
The hindsight conversation for this year will be injuries, but I think not having reliable center play has been arguably more impactful.
I swear some 23%-er has done this against the Cougs in every game since January.

I guess last night we just needed a reminder we can lose to anybody, after a few weeks of losing to everybody.
Can we not? Especially for the guys that made a choice of their own free will to declare early?

BYU now has a tally of four season-ending injuries, including to three of its Top 7 players.
Included in that group is an All-Big 12 first team guy + one of the best sixth men the country.
Just absolutely cruel we never got to see this team at full strength
It’s never been easier to cheer so hard for someone. Richie embodies everything BYU stands for. It’s devastating that he won’t wear the royal blue again, but if anyone is going to bounce back from this, it’s Richie.
