Checking out optics for a 240 degree FOV by Hypervision. #AWE2023

Does anyone have a good point of contact for sorting out a stuck Publication submission to Meta AppLab? Past Publication submissions have taken 1-2 days. This one is now at 3 months with zero communication from Meta. Others stuck like this?
Is anyone else having the GetSystemHeadsetType call return Quest_2 when running on a Quest Pro? It's making it hard for me to differentiate behavior on the Pro vs 2.
The Lanier Byzantine Chapel App (for Quest 2 ONLY) is now available for download via App Lab! It was created by a team at @NetEdgeVR which includes some HoustonVR members, and is WELL worth checking out!

So Facebook is going to change its name to highlight its commitment to Building The Metaverse (TM).
What's everyone's guess for the new name? FaceVerse? MetaFace? The Zuckerverse?
My vote is for "I Can't Believe It's Not Facebook."

Just finished @blakejharrisNYC's superb "History of the Future". For those of us who played Amateur Kremlinologist to @oculus's early years-- obsessing over every reddit comment, offhand interview remark, and Connect hallway conversation-- the book is a revelation.
My political views don't align with @PalmerLuckey's in a couple of spots, but that's irrelevant to my deep & abiding respect for his passion, his vision, & his tireless work to make good VR a reality. He deserved better than he got. I hope history, eventually, acknowledges that.
