On my way down to the Excel for EGX today! I'll be reviewing portfolios at the GI Biz area from 2:30 - 4:30, come say hi!

Amazing to finally see Empty Set live last night. As good as their albums are, the live show was completely on another level, an absolute wall of noise, loved it!!
I always love chatting with people at game events about their interests outside of work.
If we're not talking about audio, please talk to me about
- Scuba Diving
- Unexplained mysteries
- Your favourite podcasts
- Underwater games
- Neurodiversity
- Cats

I've recently had something very weird start happening when browsing my sound library. I can smell sounds!
Specifically, any sound that has a distinct smell attached to it. Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea why/how this occurs?

Lots of awesome talks so far at #Aircon23! It's been great to get insight from so many different audio pros on such a variety of topics.
Looking forward to the last few days!

Great evening at the game audio drinks last night! Looking forward to the next one!
Looks like we had a record turnout last night! Huge thanks to @Alyx_Jones and @DanPugsleySound for hosting, and to everyone who came down! What a great community ❤️

Reposting this list again for anyone looking for Waves replacements. There are two Waves plug-ins in here so I'd like to change my recommendations since I've found alternatives.
Z-Noise > Sonnox Oxford Denoiser
Clarity VX > Goyo

Turns out Amy's now famous after her recent sinister find!
A mudlarker has found a human jaw bone on the #Thames which possibly dates beyond the 17th century.

My wife found a human jaw bone on the banks of the Thames! We've had CSI round to check it out. Estimated at a few hundred years old!
Today I came across what I believe to be a human jawbone #mudlarking on the river #thames. I’ve emailed the FLO & alerted the police. They’re sending a unit round. I hope we might be able to find out some information about this lost soul… [A valid permit is required to #mudlark]
Just finished series 1 of 'The Lovecraft Investigations' always good to come across a well done take on a Lovecraft story, excellent Foley & Mix as well. Looking forward to checking out the rest of the series!

New theremin (or Terror-min) arrived today, just in time for a spooky synth sesh! I'm sure running it through the Ring-thing and Blackhole opens a portal to another dimension! #sounddesign #GameAudio #theremin
I'm thinking of buying a Theremin to use for some SFX for a job I'm currently on (and for making spooky space sounds for fun of course!). Does anyone have any recommendations? I've been looking at the MOOG theremini which looks good so far. #gameaudio #sounddesign
