Although I know this probably would never happen, there is a way to bring some instant credibility to the WNBA…. Have the Indiana Fever hire Larry Bird as their Head Coach. The Fever are already the ratings leader in the WNBA, and this would send it to another level. The team is cleaning house with the Front Office and now they can do the same with Stephanie White. He would definitely be loyal to his players, get the best out of them and would put the best team out there, with no politics! As a bonus, he may even trash talk the opposing coach a little bit!

I don’t think I was wrong about Acuff but I was certainly too low. Looking back I would probably have him in the 10-15 range, rather than where I had him.

Tony Dungy says that he's pretty sure that NBC fired him because he's pro life. Tony and his wife, both devout Christians who have 11 children, says that NBC knew who he was when they hired him. He was a speaker at the March for Life in 2023 which NBC was unhappy about. He and his wife run the Dungy Family Foundation which has worked with pregnancy centers. Honorable man.
