The Utley Community Service Club partnered with NJHS to spread some Christmas joy to the seniors in memory care at The Grove on Forest Lane. We spent 3.5 cumulative hours decorating/stuffing stockings, & writing letters to each senior. ❤︎︎ #ILoveRockwallISD

Snagged some new instructional routines after rounds .@Rockwall_HS9 last week!! We loved what we saw in .@alex_alg1 and Gilpin’s Alg1 classes! Utley Math 8 & Alg1 teams are now using marker boards with “3-2-1-show” — modified to include student discourse! 💚🐺 #HuckMath2425

What do you do on a half day before fall break w/ only 25-minute rotations with your classes? We created anchor charts — for a little competition, the groups with the most impressive posters received candy. It was a great way to #CloseTheLesson before break! #HuckMath2425

Utley Algebra 1 Ss worked together in a “Rock n Roll Bingo” practicing Direct Variation & Rate of Change problems. After rolling dice for a new problem, Ss coached each other through calculations until they agreed on a final answer. #ClosingTheLesson #PurposefulTalk #HuckMath2425
