Here for @mfarrellsports I look at 5 Head Coach Candidates for Florida State. Honestly, there are way more for this job. Wide open at this point. Who do you guys think ends up leading the Seminoles? mikefarrellsports.com/colleg…

Georgia hasn't been on fire like this since Sherman marched through.
Ole Miss trails Georgia 28-0 at halftime.

This stat is insane. Texas A&M is the first team in college football history to have 450+ total yards of offense, zero turnovers, and score zero touchdowns in the same game.

I've never felt more vindicated than I do right now. How did anyone think Will Hall would be a good hire for Tulane?
This feels like an unforced error. Hall was 14-30 has HC at Southern Miss. For one of the prominent G5 teams this doesn’t feel good enough.

I think there are a lot of similarities between Nebraska and Florida State and Arkansas. At what point is it "the place" and not the coaches they are hiring and failing with? The risk/calculation of saving millions vs. years is a really good discussion here.
What Matt Rhule has left on his contract if/when he’s fired: 2026: $63M 2027: $54M 2028: $44M 2029: $34M 2030: $24M So I’d estimate Nebraska is eating at least $44M no matter what. (That is, I can’t see Rhule lasting beyond ‘28) So the question to me: Is saving that $19M worth it for 2+ more years? And Troy Danon is the one who signed him to this extension. You could make an argument he’s more to blame for this situation. Not sure he gets to be the one to make the decision (and new hire).
