During the last weeks/months I've been more explicitly interested in identity and the relationship of identity and our environment, but I see now more clearly that it's a topic that underlines most of my work in the past years. I'm preparing a little text, maybe manifesto, maybe essay, maybe pamphlet, maybe just a bunch of nonsense, around how our individual actions, that sprout from our identity, shape public space, the environment we share with others, and how that environment in turn shapes our identity. And a couple of artworks to go with it.
I find very interesting to reflect on this while looking at the cycles / waves of conflict that span the globe. What is actually emerging from individual will and frustration? What is a product of the context, in what measure are we a product of someone else's interest? How conscious are we of that? How does art change this loop? Can it? How does AI play a role, as an actor that mediates not only our experience but our production of space?
Just thought about this cleaning my laptop when I came across this image, "above/beneath all & all above/beneath" from the last edition of Cure3 in 2025. A work where I reflected on what it means to be us and what is essential for being us when disease strikes. Sometimes disease is the context, is not within us (in that case it was to raise funds for Parkinson's research, but I believe it generalizes). I wasn't so directly trying to reflect on identity <-> public space, but it was there. Probably also before.
Anyway, hope you're all in peace.

Three stages of collector alienation.
Change from
Black and white minimalism
to
Colourful experiments and tapestries
to
Experimental and playful glitch art
to
Political glitch art.
The next change either brings everyone back, or loses the remaining one or tw collectors
one of my regrets of '21-'25 is not to grab a piece of @ALCrego_'s Helix

Been busy with work since I got back from Montreal. Then away down to London for a holiday. Today has been the first day I’ve been making anything for myself. Hopefully have a couple of things to share this week.
Less than three weeks before the run. I'd be grateful for any support 🙏🏼
Yesterday I had my first little emotional breakdown in ages. A solid reminder why I signed up run 5k across the Forth Road Bridge to raise funds to help other folk who might share similar ups and downs. It's all happening on my birthday.
Please, support
