We are losing the trees 😱
There is a lot about the #climatecrisis that feels unthinkable.
A world without trees is one of them.

A single 400-year-old ancient oak produces 234,000 litres of oxygen a year while soaking up carbon dioxide, and can support more than 2,000 species of bird, insect, fungus, and lichen. Nature is amazing - we need more of it, not less. RT if you agree 🌳

Yayyy! Well done to all the young people who helped us to plant your huge hedgerow, micro-Forest and orchard!
We can’t wait to watch them grow 🌳🌳🌳
@HumberForest – at Hull, England
5AR thoroughly enjoyed their tree planting session last week - they were lucky enough to plant a tree and build dens whilst avoiding the rain! It was a lot of muddy fun. @humberforest @rewildingyouth.

WE need nature now more than ever. Building on greenspace is not a way forward, nor is digging bigger holes for flood alleviation. Nature based solutions are what WE need for physical & mental survival.

Do you know that the stretch of the Wolds Way that runs past North Ferriby and Melton down to the Humber is soon to have a huge Amazon warehouse built right next to it? Spoiling the view looking down towards the Humber and the tranquility of this part of the route 😔
