We got to Keaton Beach on Saturday with supplies and food to distribute in the #Helene aftermath! The images are heartbreaking, and we’re heading back down in the coming weeks to provide more support. You can donate at bit.ly/HOTHelene. #HumanismIsAVerb #GoodWithoutAGod
Humanism IS a verb! We’re heading to Taylor County this Saturday to distribute food and hygiene supplies to those left in #Helene’s wake. Taylor County has had 3 hurricane hits in the past 13 months. Donate to help fund our efforts: bit.ly/HOTHelene

Humanists to the rescue! The working class Orlovista neighborhood near Orlando was hit hard by Hurricane Ian, experiencing flooding and a major sewage backup. PLEASE consider buying some supplies off this Amazon wish list to get them back on their feet.

Finally, our Help Shelf at Sabal Palm Elementary @LeonSchools is up and ready for action, and it’s beautiful! Stop by to drop off (or grab!) toiletries and non-perishable food. Thanks to @gohumanityworld for funding this project!
And a big shout-out to the volunteers from @TheCenterFSU who helped us install it and will help to keep it stocked!
We’re so excited about this! It’s hard to find community in highly religious areas if you’re a non-believer, so we hope y’all can make it for the day! More info at humaniststlh.com/assembly
.@HumanistsTLH and the Humanists of West Florida are hosting the Gulf Coast Secular Assembly on Saturday, 6/25! Join @DebGod, Sérah Blain, @Noah_Lugeons, and other secular folks in DeFuniak Spring, FL, for this event! More info at humaniststlh.com/assembly, and register by 6/20!
We finished up Secular #WeekOfAction with a bang! With the help of @ologybrewing at Power Mill and the UUCT, we collected a TON of period products for the Girl Flo Project @LeonSchools.
We also started work on our Help Shelf, which will be situated near Sabal Palm Elementary and will be stocked with canned food, toiletries, and clothing. We're hoping to have it finished and installed by mid-June. #SecularAction
We also completed another packing party, during which we assemble snack and hygiene packs for our unhoused neighbors. #Action4Unhoused
We're calling this a success and look forward to doing more throughout the year!
Join us Saturday if you can!
